Hi! I'm Liz. I am an artist.​

I find the the most artistic inspiration from God's perfect and detailed creations surrounding us in nature. I also find inspiration from vintage 1950s illustrations, storybooks, fairy tales, and color palettes. I feel a constant pull to the antique store, where I find infinite inspiration, and the occasional treasure. I am involved in conservation of monarch butterflies and eastern bluebirds. This carries through to my creative life and often influences my favorite art pieces.

I have dedicated the past 12+ years to illustration work and the wedding industry. In 2012, I graduated with a BFA in Art and Design from Purdue University and was awarded the best senior portfolio. My illustration work and custom wedding designs have been featured in large scale publications online and in print on Brides, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Day Magazine, Carats and Cake, Emmaline Bride, Exquisite Wed Mag, Bridal Musings, and more. In 2016, I was honored to be the featured shop on the front page of the Etsy Journal.  I have worked with couples all over the world on custom illustrations. My wedding projects range from casual Iowa barn weddings to elegant neoclassical Roman villas, from quaint California churches to large scale beach resort weddings in Puerto Vallarta.

Outside of work, I have been married for 10 years and am a mom to 3 beautiful children. I enjoy jewelry making, running, gardening, cooking, birdwatching, painting, and home improvement projects.  Follow my Instagram account, let's be friends!
